I am trying to be better about planning our menus out for the week. I used to be a pro at this...I'm talking I could do a month worth of menu planning. But having a 3rd kid has made it difficult for me to even plan a day ahead!
So I'm doing my best to get back at it. Starting out slowly is the key. Usually I would do breakfast, lunch and dinner menu plans, but since this is a new start I'm just going to do dinners for now and slowly build up.
I'm going to start doing my menu planning with the blog I'm a Organizing Junkie. She and other bloggers post their menu plans on Monday. So check out my menu plan and then head over to MPM to see what other people have cooking this week!
Monday- Pork Chops and Baked Potatoes
Tuesday- Spaghetti and Meatballs with garlic bread
Wednesday- Homemade pizzas
Thursday- Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches
Friday- Eating Out
Saturday- BBQ Baby Back Ribs and Baked potatoes
Sunday- Chicken Cheese and Bean Tostadas

Welcome to MPM. Meal planning used to be hard for me too. I'd spend all day Sunday trying to decide what we'd eat and what I'd need to buy at the grocery store. Then a few months ago I started OAMC and things are so much easier. I just look over my freezer meal list and pick from there. I enjoy cooking, so I try to leave a meal or two each week for something fresh.
Welcome! I'm still working on meal planning. We don't always end up eating what I've planned. But I think it's still helpful to give it a shot. Good luck with your planning!
Welcome to MPM. I only plan for our dinners as well.
Welcome to MPM. I only plan a week at a time for dinners now too. I used to do a month at a time with four kids, but then we started eating differently and I'm building up the menu planning again.
Thanks for sharing and have a great week!
